Questions
Questions, answered
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Both work. A booking holds your chair, and walk-ins are welcome when a chair is open. Quiet hours are booked ahead.
How does the line work?
Sign the board by the door. Clients are taken in the order they sign, booked clients are seen at their time, and waits vary. The board shows who is next.
What are quiet hours?
On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, from 9am to 11am, only one chair is running, the music is off and there is no line. They are made for first cuts.
How long does a haircut take?
A first cut takes 30 to 45 minutes, a short cut about 30, and a fade about 40. Breaks add time and we do not rush them.
Can you cut my child's curly or coily hair?
Yes. We cut waves, coils, curls, twists and straight hair. Tell us how you care for it at home.
How often should we come back?
Most families come every four to eight weeks, and a bangs and neck trim keeps things neat in between.
Can I ask for one barber?
Yes. Use the book link on a barber's card, or ask for them when you sign the board.
What do we need to bring?
A photo of the cut you want, and a small toy or a snack for a first cut. We have the capes.
What if we are late or need to cancel?
Tell us at least 12 hours ahead if you can. We hold your chair for 10 minutes after your time.
How does tipping work?
Tips go to the barber who cut your hair, in cash or on the card machine. They are welcome and never expected.
